Richard J.P. Rodgers is a military affairs journalist and public affairs professional. He currently works Navy Public Affairs Support Element, where he has served as the Creative Director. He previously worked as the Communications Director for Carrier Strike Group 10 Public Affairs and as a content developer at Defense Media Activity. His writings on strategy and defense policy have appeared in military publications like All Hands Magazine (the official magazine of the U.S. Navy) and defense think-tanks like the Center for International Maritime Security.
Richard a writer and lay theologian, covering topics such as history, philosophy, culture, and theology in his free time. He is a writer and editor for Isidore Acutis Media, a leading Catholic multimedia apostolate. Richard previously served as the editor-in-chief of the Christendom Review, an online news publication that provided coverage through the lens of Christian conservatism.
Additionally, he enjoys wingshooting, fly fishing, and painting - all done with the utmost mediocrity. He is a Catholic convert, having undergone the sacrament of confirmation while deployed in the Mediterrean aboard the aircraft carrier USS George H.W. Bush, and is a member of Saint Benedict's Parish, a tradional Latin Mass parish in Chesepeake, Virginia.
